2024 Mid-East Championship Results

The 2024 Combined Team Winner: Team Michigan, with a team combined (Boys and Girls) score of 83 points! The Girls Team set a Girls Team Record with a perfect XC score of 15 points!! Michigan Girls finished 1-7 in a dominant performance in this race! Second place overall went to team Ohio, followed by Team Indiana.

2024 Boys Race Winner: Team Indiana with a strong 31 Points! Ohio boys followed very closely with 34 points, then came Michigan with 68 points.

2024 Girls Race Winner: Team Michigan dominated the girls race this year, taking the top seven spots to finish with a perfect score of 15 points, beating Team Indiana’s outstanding previous team record of 16 points! Runner up this year was Team Ohio (70), followed by Team Indiana (77).

The 2024 Boys Overall Winner was Ty Rosengarten from Team Ohio, with an excellent time of 15:39.2! Runner Up was Shane Conroy from Team Indiana (15:41.8). Ty and Shane battled and traded the lead several times in the last half mile of this race! Rounding out the Top 5 boys were Noah Burgh from Team Ohio (15:43.4), and Zane Meyer (15:48.1) and Kraedyn Young (15:48.7), both from Team Indiana.

The Girls Overall Winner was Jesse Jazwinski from Team Michigan, with an impressive run of 17:48.2! Runner up was Lucy Cook from Team Michigan, in 18:06.2. As noted previously, the Top 7 girls runners were all from Michigan - 3rd Annie Alkema (18:08.8), 4th Kyan Hoffman (18:11), 5th Emma Drnek (18:17.6), 6th Elizabeth Bush (18:17.9), and 7th Kaelin Hughes (18:22.2). First perfect team score in the 37 year history of the MidEast XC Championship!
